Rising stars shine at Auckland Property People Awards
Two of our rising stars at Fletcher Construction have been recognised for their awesome mahi at the Auckland Property People Awards.
Commercial Manager Tamzin Letele won the Hawkins Sheree Cooney Memorial Young Achiever of the Year Award. Judges particularly noted her commitment to representing her community on a local and national level, and acting as a voice for others. Tamzin says she’s always been a passionate and vocal advocate for equity and inclusion. “This continues to be my compass for success. There really is no greater joy than supporting the elevation and integration of diverse identities and worldviews within our industry – and witnessing the incredible impact that results.”
Our other winner was Project Engineer Amanda Lee, who took out the Judges’ Choice Award, with judges recognising her commitment to creating sustainable and future-proofed infrastructure. “In five short years, Amanda has achieved a great deal of respect and admiration from her team and leaders within Fletcher Construction. She is known to always lead by example even in adverse conditions, giving up has never been an option.”
