Napier to Taupō almost ready to re-open
Truck convoys are a great sight on SH5. Fantastic progress has been made clearing debris and reinstating damaged sections of SH5, sufficient to allow truck convoys to travel between Taupō and Napier twice a day carrying critical freight through to the Hawke’s Bay region. Great work Higgins Hawke’s Bay and their team of subcontractors!
