Brian Perry Civil wins IPWEA Water Excellence award
Congratulations to the Papakura Water Treatment Plant project team led by Brian Perry Civil who have taken out the ‘Excellence in Water Project’ award at the IPWEA NZ Asset Management Excellence Awards.
The project to reinstate the old Papakura Water treatment Plant was completed in 41 days between site possession to water running through the pipes – an outstanding result and one which resulted in an extra six megalitres of water pumped to Auckland households per day.
Auckland’s Brian Perry Civil team worked day and night, overcoming a myriad of challenges to bring the plant online in record time and is a showcase of what can be achieved between a determined contractor, a purposeful client, and enthusiastic subcontractors.
